Dear friends in today’s article we will talk about weight loss diet plan.
We all are always worried about our weight and become so much stressed that we think of skipping our meal, but
it’s a wrong practice to skip a meal to lose weight as according to Ayurveda this can disturb your digestive system and making you bulkier.
In today’s article we will discuss in short what Ayurveda says about weight loss and then I will give you a simple diet plan.
|Diet Plan For Weight Loss Day 1|
Ayurveda supports the concept of three doshas that is Vata Pita and kafa
and the constitution of our body depends upon these three components.
The goal of Ayurveda practice is to keep this vata pitta and kafa in pace by a healthy lifestyle and a healthy diet.
If one of these doshas get disturbed we will get ill. So friends today I am giving you a diet plan suitable for almost all types of body types and in in the coming time we will discuss some particular diet plans according to the body type of vata pita and kafa
let’s start with a one-day meal plan
Diet Plan for Weight Loss
the first thing early in the morning
Have 1 glass of warm water
Make a routine to get to 7 o’clock
If you have Lemon in hand then it’s good if you have honey also then it’s very good but if you don’t have any of these please go with a clean warm glass of water early in the morning., But don’t skip it.
It will flush out your toxins from the body and water being light, it will not be heavy to your stomach and it will kick start your digestive system.
in between, you can practice yoga or some stretching exercise for then
after 1 hour take your breakfast
Diet Plan For breakfast
Last up to 9.00am
if you are a vegetarian you can opt for an option like
Multigrain Roti with any Sabzi like Cauliflower(aloo gobhi), brinjal (alu baingan), Capsicum (alu Shimla Mirch)
if you are non-vegetarian then you can have 2 eggs omelette stuffed with onion, tomato and capsicum with 2 multigrain chapatis or 4 pieces of brown bread without butter.
don’t forget to carry your water bottle infused with the lemon remnants which was used in your early morning water. Put these into your water bottle to get good detox water for your whole day.
Also carry with you some handy fruit like an apple or Banana or Orange to be taken as a snack at 11:30 at your job place.
if you are a homemaker staying at home, then you can have a good salad of fruits and vegetables like papaya or apple and cucumber with lemon juice but not salt at 11:30
Diet Plan for Lunch
Lunch should be in between 1.30 to 2.00pm.Its the ideal time to take our lunch.
Lunch should include a complete meal comprising of
2 multigrain rotis
A small bowl of brown rice,
A bowl of pulses like Rajma
for non-vegetarians, it can be egg bhurji or some non-veg sabji
Or one grilled chicken breast and a bowl of salad containing mixed salad leaves, peppers, and beans
include one bowl low-fat curd along with this.
Diet plan For Mid-evening
tea or coffee without sugar
with some multigrain biscuit
Diet Plan for Dinner
for dinner that should be in between 7.30pm to 8 pm,
you can have in your diet plan for the night,
with a bowl of salad
in the salad, you can include Cucumber, tomatoes, and lemon. Please don’t put salt in it as it may lead to water retention.
For non-vegetarians, 150 gm grilled fish with steamed broccoli can be taken.
If you are waking up for late
have a glass of warm low-fat milk without sugar this is one day plan.
At any time in a day if you feel hunger, try to munch upon some healthy option like, some fruit or roasted chana or some multigrain biscuits.
Don’t bring upon high calory chocolate or fast food.
