Ayurveda point of view for Pimples
According to Ayurveda, acne is called
“Yauvanpidika”(यौवनपीडिका),
meaning here by,
Yauvan means young time meaning adolescent age and
Pidika means papules or pustules.
The cause of acne, as described in Ayurveda is, due to eating disorders.
Impairment of all three doshas, mainly the pitta dosh occurs, due to excessive intake of oily, spicy, salty and sour foods, which further vitiates the rakta and medo dhatu i.e blood and fat tissue.
These vitiated doshas form toxins that block the microchannels of the face and cause pimple formation.
One more reason for pimples, according to Ayurveda is due to hyperacidity and constipation, attributing pitta and vata dosh vitiation.
Acne treatment
In Ayurved, the treatment of pimples strictly focuses upon balancing vitiated tridoshas, mainly pitta dosh.
As a pimple is deep routed, the use of only local creams, lotions, and antibiotics only mask the symptoms.
So pimples should be treated with specific Ayurveda therapy that includes the right diet, healthy lifestyle and some specific herbs that cure the disease of the root cause.
As Ayurveda stresses upon
स्वस्थस्य स्वास्थय रक्षणम
Means to keep ourselves healthy, so one should follow the following direction to keep away from acne.

Dear friends, in a nutshell, I want to summarize that acne is mainly the problem of youngsters and it’s obvious that this age group is higher in the grip of,
◆junk food, due to easy availability, and being tempting
◆highly in stress, due to challenging study, and different types of competitions to secure a good career,
◆in lack of sleep due to studies as well as alluring electronic gadgets as well as excessive use of the internet.
This all implies an unhealthy lifestyle, thereby more chances to develop it.
So it’s our duty, being the parents, being the elders to incorporate a healthy lifestyle in children because this is not a one night disease.
It’s long-term exposure to faulty diet and living disorders which then abrupt as pimples, thereby causing panic and depression in youngsters.
Advice your children to enjoy each and every amenities of life in moderation and take care of their routine in a balanced manner.
Even if they get gripped in these diseases of acne vulgaris or pimples, visit a doctor to rectify the problem.
Eat healthily, stay healthy.
Stay tuned friends.
